MAY 6th: Award-Winning Rick Springfield Doc Available on iTunes & Other Leading Digital Networks
We are one week away from our official US digital release of AN AFFAIR OF THE HEART. We want to thank our distributor, FilmBuff, for their hard-work and enthusiasm. They LOVE our film and we LOVE them!
AN AFFAIR OF THE HEART will be available on iTunes, Amazon, Vudu, Google Play, Xbox, YouTube, and Playstation for both rental ($3.99 SD/ $4.99 HD) and purchase ($9.99 SD/ $12.99 HD) simultaneously in the US.
We are very excited about this digital release because it will give people an opportunity for the very first time to download the film and watch it instantly.
FilmBuff will be featuring AN AFFAIR OF THE HEART on their website, social media pages, and via an e-newsletter that is sent to a very elite group of media outlets.
We still could use your help. If you’ve already seen the film (or even if you just plan to see it), please go to Rotten Tomatoes and rate/review the film. NOTE: We don’t understand why Rotten Tomatoes haven’t posted more of our glowing reviews (if you haven’t had a chance, check out: http://rickspringfielddoc.com/news.html). Our rating by critics is lower than it should be. However, we can always raise the number of audience reviews if you are willing to take a few moments and rate/review/comment. Thanks so much!!! We seriously could never have gotten this far with this project without your continued support.
Also, starting May 6th, please share/repost/tweet/like/comment/pin that AN AFFAIR OF THE HEART is NOW on iTunes. We will do another post with a live link as soon as we have it.
Thanks again for your continued support and for following the Yellow Rick Road … and a HUGE shout out to those of you who are following us on Facebook and Twitter. This is the last big push in the US … and we’re thrilled the timing is perfect with Rick Springfield new novel, Magnificent Vibration, and his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame happening at the same time.
By the way, we’re still trying carve a path of distribution outside the US. If you have any ideas/suggestions/int’l distributor contact info on how to get the film out to an international audience, our eyes and ears are always open: firstname.lastname@example.org. We may go the self-distribution route, but prior to doing that, we want to make sure we’ve explored all possible options.
