Our exhibiting partner (Emerging Pictures) has locked in the first official screening of AN AFFAIR OF THE HEART in Los Angeles, CA.

The Crest in Westwood selected our film as part of the ROCK DOCS at THE CREST series (along with Sound City and two Academy Award winning music docs, 20 Feet from Stardom and Searching for Sugarman).

AN AFFAIR OF THE HEART will be screening on Monday, April 7th at  7:30pm, so please let your friends in LA know they finally have an opportunity to see the Rick Springfield doc on the big screen. We made this documentary for the big screen, so it’s exciting when opportunities like this surface.  You may find out more information on this particular screening at:  http://www.tunestub.com/event.cfm?id=144822

Let us know if you go to the screening and please take photos we can post on our Facebook/Twitter pages.  We know featured fan Laurie “Airplane Girl” Bennett and Associate Producer/Former YRR eBay Queen Melissa Kaye plan on attending (Happy Birthday, Melissa).

By the way, a lot of you have asked if it’s possible to still see AN AFFAIR OF THE HEART on the big screen?!? Just go to http://www.emergingpictures.com/theaters to see a list of theaters that have access to our film.  If there’s a theater in your neck of the woods, contact the theater directly and tell them you would love to see AN AFFAIR OF THE HEART.  FYI: If there is a Rick concert happening in your area, that gives you bonus points in the eyes of the theater management. We know of several theaters that were contacted by fans and that prompted them to book a screening. That’s it … if they are interested and feel it will attract enough of a crowd, they will book it.

Thanks to Lis and the team at The Crest Westwood for selecting AN AFFAIR OF THE HEART! We are honored that they chose our film to be part of their 2014 ROCK DOCS series!

Post Event Recap … We would love to thank the family from Kentucky with three generations of Rick fans who blew off the NCAA playoffs to attend the screening of our film.  Here’s a photo taken with them and “Airplane Girl” …
